Getting Board Ready

Getting Board Ready (GBR) program is designed to empower women on their journey to land their first corporate Board seat. GBR offers practical and actionable insights in a combination of micro-learning, virtually facilitated discussion by experts, practical homework, and hands-on support.

Online Format: A cohort-based program, registration includes all six (6) modules virtually facilitated with peer coaching/interactive working sessions each 2 hours with inter-session homework.

This award will recognize one honouree in each of the five cities where BMO hosts events with WGOB in 2020 (Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Halifax & Ottawa) who excels in and out of the boardroom.

Nominees will be evaluated based on their breadth and depth of governance leadership as outlined in the award guidelines. The selection committee welcomes nominations for women who are leading and serving as directors on public and private companies, not-for-profit organizations and public sector boards.
